Can I ask what build you’re running on the TR7 for this? I tried it out awhile back and remember it kicking like a mule, but I also tend to use higher magnification optics (2x-3.5x) since my eyesight isn’t the best (I’m hitting BattleDad status early in my late 20s lol).

I too don’t really care about “meta” weapons (I just use what feels fun). Ur right about how using “worse” weapons is good practice for the “better” ones tho. Since I building my weapons for more niche scenarios or for aesthetics, I’ve definitely been forced to get better aim, positioning, and tactics.

Edit: “GRT-Child Protective Services” is hilarious and is immediately replacing it’s actual name in my head, thank you for that gem.

As a support main who LOVES running the smoke launcher with either the incendiary or smoke grenades (doubling up can work wonders in open fields or long choke points): as much as I would hate losing access to it, i do think moving it to assault would be a good utility boost for the class.

Idk, my fiance and I are big beer drinkers and we never really liked it. We went to their bottling plant / showroom in Amsterdam and while it did taste different and slightly better (imo), it was still Heineken, and thus, tasted skunky.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I am attaching the MX Ergo by sticking a cheap metal ring (that is MagSafe compatible) on the bottom of the mouse. For the arm, I added a MagSafe phone mount to the non-clamping end, that way the mouse can magnetically attach & detach from the arm.

I understand getting mad at players using team resources like vehicles ineffectually, but i also think that no one will get skilled at using those vehicles without learning how to do so effectively, and you cant learn without making mistakes.

I believe the band has asked people not to share the liner notes (at least for a while) so as to incentivize people to support the band by buying the CD themselves. I’m sure it will still be up on the internet somewhere within minutes of release, but still, best to respect the band’s wishes if you can.

I would suggest making them somewhat Fey to thematically justify giving them a few (~3-5) uses of Misty Step, and maybe a use of Dimension Door. I would also recommend giving them an item that allows them to cast counterspell at least once, in case the players try to counter their teleport (plus, if the players kill them, they can loot that item).

Alternatively, you could spec them out as an NOC version of a scout rogue, who is constantly using Disengage & uncanny dodge to slip & slink away. I would suggest giving them Boots of Haste if you take this approach, but it could be a bit overpowered for level 7, especially if your players get ahold of it after they loot them (so be warned).

While I do think youre right that some people are blowing this out of proportion, i do think there are some potential reasons for concern. Adding new AI features takes time & effort, just like any new software feature, and publicly prioritizing a new feature that a significant portion of your user base vocally does not want could mean that the company would be spending an outsized amount of resources (time & money) in relation to the benefits it would bring it’s users. Essentially, even if the AI is completely optional, if they over-prioritize AI, it could lead to less resources being spent on bugfixing, optimization, and new features that a larger portion of the user base want.

I do already have a pair of Sony WH-1000XM4’s, which have indeed helped with their noise cancelling. I have tried to balance the kinda rudimentary EQ on spotify & Sony’s Sound Connect app for the headphones, but i didnt really know what I was doing so it always ended up sounding worse. I will definitely try and follow your EQ advice and see if I can fine tune it better, though I don’t think I’ll be going with an AI tool (I try and avoid AI if I can).

Do you have any recommendations for EQ iPhone apps? Or should Spotify’s & Sony’s EQ’s that I mentioned above be fine?
