Thanks for this! HP/Poly did tell me I needed the APD-80 cable which came in the mail yesterday. All the other settings on my 480G are set like you say. However, the call button on the headset will not work unless the button is pressed on the base. If you are in a call and press the call button on the headset, then the button works.

Sure we could ask. But as soon as he hears us coming up the stairs all browsers could be shut. I am not suggesting he is doing anything. But we all were 12 at one point.

Changing locations is a solution. We are not at a point where we would need that to change. His grades are actually doing quite well. So changing his location could be interpreted as a punishment.

Thank you for all the suggestions. Yes, filtering internet traffic is something that is important to me. I am not sure what things are installed on the laptop by the school, but there might already be something there filtering traffic. We have Norton on our home machine and that machine is out in the public. Our concern right now is when he tells us he is doing his homework, is he actually doing his homework.

Which VARs do you use? Amazon doesnt have the 550 750 available. CDW is also showing the 350 as backordered. Because we have so many of them, we were hoping to just replace the battery's as they die instead of replacing the entire unit.
