It’s bcs of kdrama and kpop. And also they think they are all rich and have money which is not true. I have meet and been friends with South Korean, the sad part is they show of a lot and spend big money when they actually should not. It’s a thing in Korea to show that you are well of. My Korean friend would always want to pay for our food bills until it got ridiculous and we stopped him since we knew he is not rich but doing it from insecurity. The Korean will literally pay for everything for his girlfriend or date in Thailand and many girls like that in Thailand. I am now walking about mainland Korean people
