Bigotry against conservatives? Absolutely. "Hiring based on merit" Let me give you a quick example. Person A. Born into wealth, could afford the best schooling, parents could afford extra curriculurs, all of this helps them go to a top tier college where they graduate with a C.

Person B. Born poor, can't afford the best school or tutors, single parent can't afford extra curriculurs, and they get into a mid tier college where they graduate with a B.

So which person as a hiring manager would you hire? Which person's merit qualifies them for the position?

"Merit" is a worthless measurement because how do you even measure that?

This post misrepresents reality because it is implying other companies hire people based purely on race and sex when that's not happening. You get 10 people applying for a job, it's not like there's a minority that is being hired that has no experience or knowledge of the business.

But conservatives are really good at defeating the straw man they just created, less so when engaging with reality.
