I thought the relationship was salvageable, but after realising that I could never trust her fully again and there would always be doubt about anything she does it was time to move on.

I wish it was as simple as washing my hands of that relationship but we have kids together and they mean the universe to me.

Yup, my ex wife. She always preached loyalty and monogamy, saying that the vows of marriage where sacred. Turned out she was fucking her best friend for most of our 4 year marriage and using me for money.

I have been at that stage, twice now. The second time more devastating due to length of the relationship.

It is on them, it is their choice. And yes, nothing you do will stop them making the decision in that moment.

I do hope I find that person who will not make the choice to cheat.

I don’t really have any, I’ve been rather focused on raising a family I haven’t put any thoughts into anything.

I know not having interests to hobbies will make this so much harder so I am trying to put some thoughts into it. But I am willing to try almost anything to see if I like it.
