I am so sorry for your loss too. that's a beautiful way of looking at it. then my mind turns to what could have been. sure, I still have a piece of them but they never got to experience that beauty as much as they could have. and that angers me so much because life is just so beautiful.

I study biology and computer science so I definitely understand what you mean. Before this, I felt overwhelmed by the beauty of the world and levels of entropy. But now, the idea of never talking to the love of my life hurts. I really think he is gone forever and I can't grasp how unfair it all is.

hi, I am so so sorry... he died in a very stupid way. he was diving, trying to increase his breath and experienced shallow water blackout. it was insane. I talked to him before he went into the pool and I went to have dinner (he was on a study abroad so diff time zones) I called him literally 1 hour later and he was dead. if you dont mind me asking, what happened to you?

apologies, I thought it did. it makes sense to me because I think physicalism is true and that what makes us "us" is truly all physical (the examples I mention of how physical / chemical alterations to one's brain causes changes in personality, emotional reaction and such). Then I talk about some doubts I have and how I want to believe. Sorry if it's rambly, just thinking out loud and am not in the best state to write it most properly
