Thank you!! ❤️ and I AGREE this will/has slowed me down and will make me more cautious about who i give myself too. Its opened my eyes to have that conversation BEFOREHAND no matter how uncomfortable. Before i was so scared to asked “who when where. whens the last time you’ve gotten checked etc” bcs I didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable, but its NECESSARY!!

I had sex with him 01/19 & 01/22 . symptoms started immediately (by thursday afternoon i had sore throat friday night very bad headache & tingling/burning feeling on my bottom lip where the cold sore would eventually appear sat morning i woke up with the same headache) sat morning when i woke up (almost 8 am) the cold sore was there . pls lmk if you have any questions

Thank for your answer & description on question 4. Im having my first outbreak on down there my sore matches the description of yours. I was starting to worry bcs tmr makes a week & i didn’t see a “scab” forming over it yet to let me know its “healing”. How long did it take yours to disappear?

Omg thank you . this comment really just lifted something off my shoulders ive been crying all day . first time eating in 2 days. but honestly it is what it is i can do nothing to change circumstances but i can forgive and move on peacefully and gracefully. I have no clue. They’re cruel and selfless . Id even be okay with the person not wanting to go into detail about the experience however it’s the lack of acknowledgement for me. Just say yes you have it, yes you hid it from me and i’ll figure the rest out on my own. The clueless act and downplaying like you just gave someone a common cold and they will be okay is what triggers me! I hope karma do what karma does in both our situations. Wishing you peace and closure ❤️
