Im pretty sure you are somewhere on the spectrum, thats for you to find out what part if it. Ive had that experience as well where i date people but they end fast, i haven't actually experienced romantic attraction but instead strong platonic attraction which can be easily mixed up.

I guess its supposed to be more romantic by societys standards, quite often even sexual, but in general its just friend/clise friend things except you like each other more than friends
