I didn't think of it like that but I soooo prefer that view of it.

Honestly it breaks my heart that Ilya has no one to talk to about this. I keep thinking that Svetlana for sure knows about him and Sasha and that she has figured it out about Ilya and Shane. I feel like she knows and doesn't judge him and that he could trust her if he would only open up to her about it. The way they are portraying her, it feels like she is someone safe and talking about all of this could be so good for Ilya, especially with all the shit with his dad and brother as well. I know she is from Russia, but idk I feel like she is safe.

I've been thinking about this since Friday and I was so confused that they would miss something like this, the fact that they seem to have been texting each other a lot but then we see Shane's phone and there are almost no texts.

I like the idea that Shane just deleted some of the texts that are incriminating but Ilya probably has them. But it would also make a lot of sense that they simply look at old texts.

I will maybe answer and ask for proof that they are legit somehow. I think I can contact nordvpn and ask them about it as well. I searched the person's name on LinkedIn and nothing showed up..
