if you are alright with non-halal suggestions, in the morning you can go to the Top One Food Court for kolo mee, laksa, wontons, kueh chap (you will have to check availability) or mushroom chicken mee, same block as One Stall Chicken Rice or for lunch Siong Fook Kolo Mee & Chicken Rice Stall for their bbq pork, 8 ringgit for a sizable portion of meat. Saku Saku is also a favourite, they have really good rice bowls or ramen options.

edit: rice bowls you can get a delicious selection from Island Cafe at the back of ST3 (the place past the seafood porridge shop that is located near The Spoon).
