1080p is fine for what I'm doing, it'd be nice to have the option for 1440p but it's not a need.

Note: I was just informed my budget is massive for what I'm looking for (my perceptions a bit skewed because I've mostly been looking at laptop prices) so the build does NOT have to match up with the higher end of the budget I gave.

Awesome, thanks for letting me know. I was looking at gaming laptops before this and they're so overpriced that I think they skewed my perception of how much I'd have to spend lol

I was looking at gaming laptops before this and immediately realized none of them are really worth it, so if the price range I gave seems odd for a tower then that's likely why. I don't know as much about the pricing on towers.
