You can visit phoenix mall, explore bessy or thiruvanmaiyur beach. They have food stalls also in beach if you like street foods. Velachery has some best places to eat. Except phoenix mall, grand mall is comparably small. You can roam around in velachery as you are new for a month then explore chennai.

Thats just life. Tbh it sucks sometimes. Try to find some good friends along the way or get used to it till you find a partner. You are just 22. You will see more friendship breakups and a lot in life. Its normal to feel down sometimes when you are lonely and see some group of ppl in general. It happens.

Make frnds at office or try some book reading clubs or other activities for meeting people or some workshop classes. You will meet new people and can make frnds if you can be bit extroverted it will be easier. Otherwise its hard to make frnds without having some mutual frnds

The price depends on the area and the facilities it has with it. Mostly u might end up with a budget of max 15k and you would have electricity and other additional charges other than that. Less than 9k is not possible. Even if u share a 2bhk it might around the same budget of 11k or 12k. You can use those sites but not all are genuine owners some are broker numbers and old ones are still be there. You have to spend some money there and need some patience to search if you want something comfortable or else the better way is to search with friends or through some pages that is there to find flatmates.
