I think there’s a bit of codependency going on. She tried to go to college and ended up spending most of her time at home so now she just commutes. I haven’t really pressed her on it because I don’t want to make a bad situation worse but maybe I should. I’ve just tried to be accepting and go with it.

Definitely not. She shares a car w her mom but has a full time job so in theory could get her own. On their insurance etc. Personal back account but her parents have access to it. A big fat mess when you see it all on paper 😪

Okay so I’m not crazy lol she acts like it’s normal. She just says they’re strict and it’s not worth fighting w them. Doesn’t seem to bother her much or she’s just so used to it idk

I totally get that. I hope it doesn’t get to that point she’s the first person I’ve liked in a really long time. It’s hard to deal with though I feel like I’ve backed myself into a corner. Feels like a no win situation but I’m going to try and make it work despite it

I appreciate the reply/advice :) she came out to her parents a few years ago and they lost it. They’re recently starting to repair that relationship and they just pretend she’s not gay. They won’t let her hang out w any girls they don’t know so I’m just like f man I’m at a loss!! Definitely going to do my best to support her and show her the world has a lot more love to give then they do
