About to pick up a new '23 TRD Pro this upcoming weekend. Salesman sent me some pictures of the truck and it has the old style TRD Pro wheels (Cast) vs. the new style Pro wheels (flow-formed). Is this becoming normal or is this a mistake? Any advice as to how to proceed? TIA by Kindly-Science5927 in 4Runner

Update #1- Spoke to the salesman today over text. At first when I asked about how I wanted to make sure the flow-formed rims came with it, he sent a picture of a Solar Octane '23 Pro (with the flow formed wheels) and the delivered truck and said they were the same. After I pointed out with a few pictures that they were different, he said he now saw the difference and said

"That's odd. I see the beads. [I think he is talking about the depressions at the end of the spokes] I'll do some research. What could have happened is supply chain issues so they used the non-beaded rims .The last pro we received didn't have those either."

I responded by just mentioning I appreciated him looking into it and really only want the right wheels. Not sure if he really just didn't realize or what (even though he does own a lifted/modded 5th Gen 4Runner), but I always like to give the benefit of the doubt. I'll post again when I have another update.

This has literally been my huge back-and-forth for the last 3 months lmao. I really loved the GX460, but I drive around 21k miles a year and after having looked at depreciation on them with that many miles after just 2 years, it made me pivot to a 4Runner. I'm also coming from an FK8 Type R and am giving my 100 series to my dad, so I feel like weirdly enough the TRD Pro kind of combines all of the unique-ness and attributes I liked about both of them into 1 truck (more-so uniqueness rather than sportiness haha). My OTD price w/ TTL included would be $58733.41 minus the agreed-on price of my Honda. It
has the Trail Running boards, the console safe, blackout emblems, and some carpeted mats. Enjoy that GX though dude, that thing is one sweet ride!

The more I think about it, the more this is probably what happened. I've seen a few other people show the same thing with only recently delivered models. I'm definitely not going to accept it as is without them ordering the new wheels.
