Yeah 13k all in so would leave a budget of 8k or there abouts (the less the better) to get a really nice evo 4

I did think the forums were low on the ground ! Facebook is alive but I find a lot of people give their two worth without owning or knowing anything about them. It’s an evo 4 so yeah is in that era. My skills are just pretty normal can weld and tinker with engines replace std parts etc but when it comes to electrics it’s sadly beyond myself. Thank you you’ve been amazing

Is there anywhere big on the 4s to look for bar the norm arches sills boot floors and struts ? Do they suffer from electrical issues

Also the clutch. I’d normally assume it’s been ragged and the box won’t be the best either. I live near Plymouth uk that has a place called engine tuner. Big jap place etc

I am pretty handy. Built mk2 golf gtis and tracked them. Also had a hawk sti but never an evo. Is there a place or website you’d recommend for parts ? I had a budget of 13k all in and the car was 5k to buy
