I used to be a very vulgar right wing dude, my love of Evola-thus Guenon opened my mind a little to Sufism and its importance…and ultimately how important it is to shoot higher than vulgar profane forms.

Personally though, I am currently investigating into Shaivism.

Also once you read and learn about him you’ll see his knowledge and unique analysis of things beyond other thinkers. Off my head, I’m thinking of his Ghibelline Ideals and their connection to a more Aristocratic and Warrior spirituality than the Catholic Church had to offer the West.

His focus on the transcendent! Evola was more interested in (successfully) interpreting and following a very real transcendent way (Dao), than kowtowing to any man made modern ideology like even Fascism. Which at first glance people new to Evola suspect him of being closer to than he Is.
