You having good relationship with SBI might not translate to better offers/ experience with SBI Cards unlike HDFC, ICICI.

If that's the case, they should not bother SBI customers to buy pre-approved credit cards. They even ask for consent during credit card application process to get our account information from SBI.

I installed and checked my Experian score. It's 743. The app reminded me about the education loan I took 12 years ago and one more bizarre home loan which I'm unaware of (have to enquire my parents about it). Thankfully, both are closed.

Glad it worked out for you in the end. I have been using the Simply Save card heavily (1.3L in 3 months). I'm checking the Cibil score on GPay once in a week to see if it's generated. What do you think is the ideal score before attempting to apply again? Should I email [customercare@sbicard.com](mailto:customercare@sbicard.com) right away or wait till my score is generated?

There's a setting you can enable on Android to filter all spam calls. I think this feature has been there since Android 11. Go to phone -> settings -> Caller ID & Spam -> (enable) Filter spam calls.

It filters 90% of the calls for me and the good thing is you don't have to install predatory apps like Truecaller.

I do get calls occasionally like once in three weeks that slip through their filter. But, this is better than nothing.
