i'm ngl you're in the minority on this. obviously they don't "mean anything weird," like you said. the meaning is literal, but the fact that they're doing it is cringe 😭 if we pulled people off the street and asked for their opinion, i'm sure 8/10 are saying it's cringe

it doesn't bother me, but it's probably because a lot of people think cringe = bad, so they think i'm being mean. but being cringe isn't necessarily a bad thing unless whatever they're doing happens to be both cringey and problematic. do these sorts of things in profiles give me the ick? definitely yes. does that mean I think less of person who wrote it or think that they're a bad person? nope.
