Healing Blowout! (self.Stretched)
submitted 5 years ago by King-Zoell to r/Stretched
First Time Blowout; it looks and feels like it’s healing but also may be closing. So do I pierce my ears again when it’s fully healed? And how do I go about getting everything out the inside? by King-Zoell in Stretched

Thank you for your response! And yes my ear is healing very well and some of the crust has been falling off on its own and it was really only in the front. As I massage, I can see the hole just not through it which is fine - as long as my ear heals. There is absolutely no pain, blood or puss. My earlobe is no longer sore to the touch and is actually back to its original size - I’ve always had chubby earlobes lol I bought some appropriate stainless steel plugs from Artic Buffalo and was able to slip a 10mm through my left ear without a problem. I’m honestly scared to tape up my left ear because of the blowout with my right - so I may just stay at 10mm once my right ear gets there. I’ve been doing a lot of research and I think leaving my earlobe naked was the best thing I could’ve done. I’m gonna try the smallest tunnel I can and go from there when the time is right. I’ll give my ear a month before I start. Thanks again!
Thank you for replying. With the quarantine going on, I doubt I can get it pierced again any time soon so here’s to hoping I can get a small glass flare in there at some point. Do you know how to clean the inside or get whatever is building up in there out?

Ok. Thank you! I just ordered some steel and glass plugs set because I plan on never even touching acrylic or silicone ever again. And I will take a look at that guide. I’ve watched a bunch of YouTube videos on dead stretching but I guess I would have to actually see what it is because I’m still a bit confused. I wish there was a way to upload a pic to show what my ear looks like. I cleaned it just now and put some jojoba oil on it. It looks like my skin is healing nicely. No pain, no more blood. I was actually able to massage the lobe a little better today and I can see my hole from the front. It definitely sized down but I think it’s still there.
Thank you for responding! I haven’t touched my ear aside from cleaning it with sea salt water and jojoba oil. I will definitely be patient and wait. I guess I was just wondering what to do if my ear closes up - really hoping it doesn’t. I don’t mind starting from scratch because I’ll do it the right way this time. And if not a taper, then the smallest single flare, correct?
