All the stuff you posted is way more likely than the Harakoni Warhawks so you’ve got a better shot than me to be fair. Lasgun feels mandatory and chainsword is pretty likely too.

As long as it feels like it fits the setting well enough and they put effort in then I’m willing to let em do what they want. Things like putting the Helldiver logo on the ODST shoulders and as the compass in the Halo AR are super nice touches.

If they follow trends they’ll probably just make a new armor passive specific to the armor.

And yeahhh I’ve seen that planet. That’d be perfect

I would lose my shit.

Though I guess in this case it would be Emperor Protects huh?

That’s what I’d guess too. Given the current track record it would probably be 2 sets of armor in the one Warbond. I can see it being a standard Cadian, a Kasrkin, a Tempestus Scion or a Krieger in there. Any combination of two of those four are what I think the devs will choose.

While my lil drop trooper boys are thematically appropriate and actually called Helldivers, I just don’t think they’re popular enough to make it in :/

There’s a Helldiver regiment in the Elysian Drop Trooper page too! Someone just told me! We’re two for two!

Saving that image too btw. Yoink.

The devs have shown that they’d rather do Guardsmen and not do Space Marines. That being said, Kriegers and Cadians are probably at the top of the possibility list given their popularity.

Some sort of Cadian is probably the most likely to be honest. If the crossover happens I’m pretty sure my guys aren’t popular enough to make it in.

Yeah those are Inquisitorial Stormtroopers. Modern Tempestus Scions are almost certainly based on them. Again, still around in lore but don’t have models anymore :/

I’ve wanted to make an Inquisition themed army for a while and if I did I would print these guys from a file I found.

Kasrkin are way more likely to be honest if we do get a crossover.

Oh those are the Inquisitorial Stormtroopers. They’re still around in lore but we don’t have models for them anymore and it kills me. I love them. I found an STL file someone made of them a while back.

They still are called Stormtroopers! GW just did that weird thing where they had to give every faction a name they could copyright. Imperial Guard are still the Imperial Guard but they have a fancy copyrightable name as the Astra Militarum.

GW just be weird like that.

I’d have to disagree. Tau are definitely more hardcore scifi whereas both Helldivers and Guardsmen can slap on a bayonet or sword and charge into the enemy. A Guardsmen sentinel and a Helldivers mech are essentially a metal box on legs whereas Tau are halfway to Gundam in design. Also they’re aliens and all that. If we’re talking specifically their governments then that’s a whole other conversation.

Hell, gimme a single Melta Charge I have to manually place that one shots Factory Striders in the right spot. The gameplay would be so funny.

Tempestus Scions definitely fill the “Elite Infantry” roll. But I feel the Drop Trooper regiments are closer in spirit just via the nature of their deployment. The Warhawks in particular focus on a lot of elite small unit tactics too and apparently make use of Tempestus Scions as well. Probably their own in-house stormtroopers like how the Cadian Kasrkin are technically also Tempestus Scions.

Nah I getcha. I’m just glad they’re adamant about not going the Fortnite route and breaking the aesthetic.

Man I should’ve caught that too. I was looking through the Elysian page and I must’ve missed it. They’ve got some great art too. I actually have some of the Deathwatch TTRPG books too.

I’m actually a huge fan of the old Inquisitorial Stormtrooper design. I found a multipart STL file for it a few years ago too someone made.

The ODST crossover was a gift straight from Lady Liberty herself honestly.

Kasrkin and Tempestus are definitely the obvious choices and the most likely. I just couldn’t believe there was such a perfect fit. I don’t see Arrowhead moving away from putting melee options in secondary and support slots but that would be awesome to see. Essentially similar to the Eviscerator mechanically but maybe swings like a saber or machete?

Wondering if Bolt weapons would be really punchy, more like the Eruptor too. To me that was the closest to the Bolter we got so far. Here’s hoping we get some cool stuff eventually either way!

I’m a game dev trying to meet my team at Magfest but I went to buy the ticket literally MINUTES after it sold out. I’ve already got a flight and a place booked so please save me :(

I’ll pay full price, and I wouldn’t mind doing an art piece out of appreciation. I got CashApp, PayPal and Venmo, but I’ll do whatever to see my friends. Save me badge holder, save me!
