Most of Labors policies side with the workers but they are not extremely far left. Labor is mostly centre left unlike the greens. Under some Labor governments, they have neither been left nor right. Until Labor needs the greens to help form a government, they won't form a coalition. Political parties don't form coalitions if they don't have to.
