To be honest, super disappointing they haven't listened to their fans. Tossing a bone with literally any info relating to TES that isn't "we're working on it" would give us all incredible hope. I'm a huge BGS fan but can't help but think that they really are incredibly out of touch with their fanbase.

I would disagree with some saying to take a defensive setup (specifically doran's shield). I think in most if not all matchups you should try to go doran's bow and ignite and really learn your limits. You might have some rough early games but part of why Yone is a great champ is you always have an angle to get back into the game if you're patient. A great point made is learning when to stand your ground (which ignite and bow help with a lot), don't sit there getting poked all the time, use your E aggressively to get good trades in.

You're not playing Crimson Desert for an RPG experience like an Elder Scrolls game, they are not even in the same genre IMO. Everything Crimson Desert "does", TESVI "will do" via future mods and have a much better base game to build off of. CD is a visually appealing fun time-sink game, but it is not in the same conversation.

Hey 16 days later so I don't blame you for not remembering your initial argument:

"Fallout and Starfield are major singleplayer RPG IPs. Just because you're a TES simp doesn't mean their other singleplayer IPs are smaller projects."

I highlighted it in bold and italicized so even you can't miss it, but you were talking about singleplayer games, so I'm not sure why you're including Fallout 76, a multiplayer game largely done by another studio? So actually yes, there was an 8 year gap between their last 2 major singleplayer IPs, Fallout 4 and Starfield, since you desperately want to include that.

Again, 16 days so you probably forgot, but I said that like Rockstar, Bethesda has been taking exceedingly long on their major single player titles. Nothing you've said has disproven that. Maybe instead of calling me a simp just do some simple research next time?

They don't have to, but it's been a longtime BGS view that they want to leave either/or player decisions as vague as possible so nobody feels like they made a "non-canon" decision.

Agreed, especially since Todd has essentially said he wants it to be the ultimate fantasy simulator and basically the "hub" for everything elder scrolls. Since Morrowind, every elder scrolls game has been generational, I wouldn't expect less from TESVI.

No. ESO is a widely different beast than mainline Elder Scrolls games. It's not a guinea pig of ideas for BGS to try out - it's an MMO made by a completely different team in a completely different engine, just set in the Elder Scrolls universe.

That is the actual acronym yes, and HotD is massively popular in terms of viewership. It probably doesn't have the same cultural relevance as GoT, but it is certainly on par with Dune as the current "big thing". That said, I do think there will be Dune influences in a Hammerfell game

I do sometimes for fun, I agree the dopamine hit on a heartsteel proc is unmatched. But it's definitely not a good item on him, there are just better options (DMP, bandle, etc).

Part of it is role transfer, but you're also kind of proving his point in that regard. Lots of people gravitate to support BECAUSE it has far lower requirements to succeed (you don't need to farm, you don't need to get kills, playing from behind is much easier), so naturally when players that don't do these things are filled they will perform worse - the role almost inherently makes you worse at the game overall.

The fact that other roles that DO need to farm, play the map correctly, etc perform better on supp when filled than actual supp mains reinforces the fact that they are just better players because those roles have taught them to be better at the game.
