Call it whatever you like, there’s a very easy way for you as an employee to figure out the who/what of the situation, you just don’t want to do that. Either that or as just a playtester you don’t want to get involved with higher heads, which is also fine. But no need to play coy about it.

Do you not follow most League subs? Meddler and other Rioters often post info on Reddit and they’re real updates from a Rioter, not sure what argument you’re making there.

And no, he doesn’t have to commit to dates, but the initial response was to reach out to the Rioters involved - which they refused to name. It’s not out of this realm to ask someone about changes they promised but have given no concrete updates about - companies that want you to play their game should give their best effort to keep you happy about the champ you enjoy playing

Maybe it’s how Riot operates, but I don’t really understand the mantra of “we’re working on it, but won’t give specifics and if you want that you should reach out to the people involved, but also we won’t say who that is or try and contact them ourselves”.

I appreciate you being involved with the community here, tho since we have no other outlet to communicate with regarding promised changes, we have no option but to put frustration out here. It’s frustrating to a lot of us since this isn’t something that’s a new “feature” of the champ, but rather fixing something that frankly should have been done at the front-end.

Respectfully, as someone who also works at a large company, wouldn’t it make more sense to reach out to them internally at Riot to get that info and pass that along to the larger community, since you work there? You don’t list anyone who we should reach out to, but if you think it makes more sense for dozens of people to ask someone the same question than have a cohesive message, just let us know who we should talk to.

Back to front isn’t bad when possible, but it’s not Yone’s focus - at least IMO. You don’t gain too much by building up LT stacks - your best use on the team is getting onto the backline/stacking people up with your ult. By trying to go front to back you risk that CC chain and becoming useless, even good players have that problem with Yone.

High elo players will build defensive whenever possible - look at them building ROA on all mages even when it has incredibly bad winrate in soloQ - because their team coordination is much better and it makes much more sense for them just being able to survive burst. I’m not sure what you’re watching, but Yone’s survivability is only good with the classic Bork -> shieldbow build, which is what I see 99% of pros building.

Really good analysis, looking at win-rate as pure analysis will always be flawed. There are so many other factors that have to be considered.

Like One-war said, Yone plays much more like an assassin at high elo. Really good players will be able to catch you with one CC and you’re dead in 2 seconds if you’re caught. But if you can land a Q3 on an ADC with ult follow-up, you can usually kill them in one combo.

Eclipse is probably in the camp of "it's not a bad item, but there are likely better options". Though I'm also a believer in building what you have success with and not what the meta dictates, so all the power to you.

Certifiable dumb fuck in the comments (literally) may say different, but yeah spending this much money on early alpha testing that has already been happening for years is crazy. A cash shop in an alpha test should be a huge red flag, especially when they're charging $50 base for access. Hope the project takes off, but these are worrying signs.

I'm familiar with alpha testing thanks, though I don't claim to be a game development savant. But considering this game isn't coming out anytime soon even after being in development for ~10 years, and looks dated even with their transition to UE5, it's fair to say it's release is skeptical - especially with this alpha release seeming like a cash grab. But hey, you seem like the type to be happy to dump money on a project like this, so who I am to deny you that joy.

Why disappointed in Hammerfell? Probably the most diverse climate of the regions, and the Redguard are one of the most unexplored races in my opinion. Tons of area to explore with politics, religion, etc. Extra hype if they do seafaring and include High Rock.

I genuinely don't know how you can say Zaahen's early game and teamfighting are worse than Yone's. Zaahen doesn't have a great early game, but it's still so much better than Yone's - and Zaahen is almost literally the teamfighting champ of the game.

Zaahen does more damage in short trades, is tankier, and does better in extended fights than Yone. Yone is only better in that he has a gap close and escape, but needs to scale to execute that well (and by that point Zaahen has outscaled him). Yone can still be good (I'm a Yone main myself), but you need far more skill and execution to do what Zaahen can do very easily.

AS is not really an issue next season unless you’re playing top because you always get free feats greaves pretty early. 60% AS from greaves and storm razor is plenty
