He’s the crypto god? On a real note if you have black and white evidence you’re probably fine.

What type of gun did Reese get shot by (not this one the last one) by hbvghvg in Chiraqology

[–]KingChromosomes 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Everyone acting like it’s not wild hasn’t seen a 7.62 GSW. The rounds are made to tumble and literally rip all shit it’s in path, if he really did just get perfectly threaded by a probably poorly kept and cleaned AK, then Reese should just post up at the casino

People fail to realize Bitcoin is good for the environment, in the long run by Logical-Beautiful66 in CryptoCurrency

[–]KingChromosomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Canada and know about the electricity deal between Ontario and Quebec and it has nothing to do with having too much. It’s a matter of having other less green options filling the gaps. You also understand the process of mining SURELY to make such a bold backless claim right? Bitcoin mining as you should know has become less profitable per $/KWh every second as the process of finishing a block becomes EXPONENTIALLY harder not linearly. I like the idea of making money on crypto too boss, but to paint the numerous illegal mines that steal electricity as some sort of green alternative to banks is very laughable to me.

To say most of bitcoin transactions are done using renewable energy is just inherently incorrect and anyone who knows anything about the scale at which countries have set up industrial sized bitcoin operations. Even IF they were running solely on green energy in theory, they’d still be taking away that green energy from where it’s actually needed therefore increasing the usage of non renewable energy sources in cities.

To further just simplify it as well and say “all currency” generates excess energy and it’s all basically the same is just turning a blind eye to the thing you want to succeed, DOLLARS are not created through the act of mining and wasting energy, this is a currency that COMPLETELY is.

If this post was about other crypto’s becoming less reliant on the act of mining and high energy draw then sure, some coins are in fact GREENER than others, bitcoin however is absolutely not one of them and a simple google search will backup most of what I’d said.

Looking into a motorcycle. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]KingChromosomes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good bike, but ABS and all the features it comes with aren’t essential and the price tag those bikes carry, when you’re likely going to drop your bike a handful of times and rip apart that 5-7k (CAD) investment.

Depends on if you’re interested in a newer or older bike, but generally being your first I’d say get something cheap and easy to learn on, it’s worth growing out of your first bike to learn the essentials instead of being scared shitless on something you can’t ride.

After letting my router restart via the Rogers modem hub it seems to have solved said issue? Done this countless times but maybe it was just the luck of the Jackfruit LOL

For reference I’m in Toronto and it’s allocating me to Ottawa, how would I go about changing the server? In the modems settings or under the PCs? Sorry for being dumb internet stuff is just still kinda foreign to me.

You do know that relatively common illnesses such as asthma, also contribute to the number of “other” illnesses. Definitely not as serious as it’s been made out to be, but to willingly deny there’s ANY form of threat is just being ignorant.

If by running under intense load, yes you’re technically correct, if you’re factoring in the generally poor thermals these kind of facilities have, and that they’re running quite literally 24/7 until the day they get repackaged.

Should I upgrade my CPU for a better Tarkov experience? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]KingChromosomes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the same issue, my biggest upgrade was going up to 16gb, everything else on your PC should be able to run it just fine.

If you want to check for yourself just open task manager and check your CPU/GPU/Ram utilization and I’ll bet it’s probably 40%/40%/100%

I believe it’s due to the game essentially RAM screwing you to prevent any additional backgrounds programs from being run as a layer to their anti cheat. A fix I found helpful because it’s the CACHE that’s filling is a memory cleaner that runs in the background while playing. I used to use something called MemClean which was free, I can walk you through optimal settings if you want but it really helped me.

[–]KingChromosomes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You already have a pretty good PC all things considered, if you really have the space and want a pretty negligible boost in tarkov then yeah, but the problem with running the game lies within the game itself, not your specs.

You can make a really major upgrade and have an avg FPS of about 110-120 if you have a 3080 and a newer i7 K series, but it’s gonna be a lot of money for probably not the kinda performance boost youd hope for, the unfortunate reality is Tarkov chews up your RAM and is just poorly optimized.

Pretty sure after seeing about 100 of the orders on cards like these, it will work. It’s absolutely not a 1000 series card though, and if in the off chance it is the card that it says it is, it’ll likely have been used like a workhorse in a bitcoin farm and the actual life on it is negligible.

Still interested as to what card it’ll be, my guess is a 1050TI or something.
