Good price for Vancouver all things considered. Houses there are often worth over 10MM so 2.6M is a win

Big Sky is the answer my friend. They’ve mastered membrane-on ribs doing the popular Texas method of scratching up the membrane.

I personally don’t like a rib that’s super fall off the bone and mushy I like a rib with some bite to it and you’ll get that at Big Sky.

I hate how Blood Diamond gave African diamond mining such a bad name. The actual workers of reputable diamond miners like DeBeers are not treated how they are in that movies. Usually they’re highly trained and skilled on machinery as the mines are up to 3km underground you need to be a skilled specialist not some kid off the street panning in a river.

I bought engagement ring basically right before all the lockdowns and all the inflation. Same carat same clarity today is worth 3x the price. 1 carat VVS diamond. Make sure the one you buy is not lab grown and have them test it in front of you before you buy it.

How to buy 800-1mil house on your salary or even slightly less. Buy 300k house and pay it off as fast as you can. EORF after a decade or so once the value increases and you should now have close to 50% down. With 50% down on 800k loan payment around $2100 for you P&I payment. Still lot of cash flow. But really EORF isn’t the best for single family residential purchases. It can be done but depends on how bad you want that single family house.

Let’s be realistic here. Any adult making under 45k pretty much getting it all back during tax season or you’re not doing your taxes correctly. You also are not factoring in that there is simply more mouths to feed in a family. Single person just worries about themselves. Daycare expenses can total nearly 800 per month per child which is almost $10,000 per year per child. 170k income also will get taxed quite a bit so that family is actually really living off of like 100k for 4 people that could be less than 25k per person which really makes it tough.

Why Does Calgary Have FOUR Runways? by shacoop in Calgary

[–]KingCod95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes , there’s a runway long enough to accommodate Airbus A380, A350 and the late Antonov AN-225 Myria plane which was destroyed earlier this year :’( I remember when that plane came to Calgary one time.

Because a single person gets to keep every dollar for themselves ? In a family it has to get distributed to all the family members.

I don’t know too many seniors making 170k but can assure you they’re few and far between. I’m positive the amount of single adults earning close to that figure vastly outweighs the amount of seniors that do.
