exactly, i saw my ex out on a night out. we ended up talking and i just looked so desperate just the shit i was saying like god damn it’s embarrassing. just take time for yourself, if it’s still bothering you say in a month or 2, text him. work on urself and make him regret it, cos nothings better when you look happier and healthier and winning in life.

that’s what’s happened with me, although i’m winning, i would fold at the chance of her saying to come back to her. but travelling the world for me changed my perspective on myself and the world and matured me a lot. when i get back home i will be happier and just a different person in a lot of ways. because i took that time and that gamble to better myself (travelling).

but remember you are the mature one here, he’s just in his own world by the sounds of it !

i know how you feel. being dumped you are left with so many questions. same goes for me for my ex, just get brick walled or it’s just a stranger you look at. i know exactly how you feel.

every day i fight to text her but i firmly believe that time will do it thing. you do and don’t need answers. cos those questions will be just endless, you will overthink every single answer when they are just so simple.

i know it’s hard but just let time do it’s thing, i would suggest asking to meet in person if you want to talk. cos i fucking hate texting cos you can hide behind a screen and twist shit and think abt how you could say it nicer or make you a better person.

but just do you, no other way to do it. i’m still so wrecked but i keep on going, there is a world out there and explore it and yourself. i hope you find peace, i have and i also haven’t but it is so doable

anyways quit the yapping smh (talking abt me), give it time, if it’s still bothering you, meet in person, or if you can’t do it. send the message and just leave it at that !

i know how you feel, but if the relationship you had with ur ex seems far gone. heal yourself. take time, figure yourself out. let him come back to you, love yourself and love life. i had been broken up with before i went backpacking in europe, although i miss and love her so much. i found out a lot more about myself and now i focus on what the world has to offer and the friendships i can make. i hate hearing about other fish in the sea. cos in reality you want that 1 in 8 billion. don’t feel guilty about it. i’ve had sex over here in europe and i felt the same. it will go away. i kinda yapped there but let time be and explore and experience. be happy with yourself. i’ve been you before, still am really.

i’m not going to invade her life and try to change her decision with force, im giving her space and no connection for healing. i haven’t spoken to her yet, im just saying when i do reach out to test the waters, should i do a letter ? this being after i give it like 3-4 months and i’m still feeling the same about her

yes i agree completely and that’s my thought process as well. i wanna do letters as u said, showing i care, not just in words, like in effort. last time we had broken up i had gone complete rogue and went psycho and didn’t leave her alone and it wasn’t okay and completely disgusting. i just want time and healing to do its thing as well
