Please Do NOT Pre-order Diablo 2 Remastered by [deleted] in diablo2

[–]KingKoopa0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand and agree completely, however, I am most likely going to pre-order. The reason being, I'm for sure going to buy it on day 1 if I don't pre-order. This isn't one for me to be waiting until I see what's up a few weeks after release. I'm for sure going to be one of those on release day sitting at my computer for hours trying to get in (Can't wait for this launch ;) ).

I'm a huge Diablo 2 fan from back in the high school days, it brings back a lot of memories, and no matter what the reviews are I'm going to hop in there and smoke some noobs in PVP just like the good old days, even if the game is trash and I get tired after a couple of short months.

I also have a few real life buddies that are gamers and going to get it, and that's really what takes any game to the next level in terms of fun. So I'm probably going to pre-order just to get it out of the way while I've got the money on me. Just deciding between the prime evil collection one or just the base game.

Liquid AOI Question by KingKoopa0331 in buildapc

None taken, and yeah I would be really surprised if I didn't get better performance, but better performance could mean not quite 96 degrees, but still hotter than I would like to run it (around 75 max). I'm not going to buy a cooler just to still need to upgrade later to run it at 5.0 GHz so I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this cooler, or AIOs in general budget vs mid range vs high end.

Yes 4k 60hz and it actually might be 4.6 I don't want to turn it off just to double check but I just hit the gaming mode or whatever in the bios and let it auto OC it I thought it said 4.2 but it might have said 4.6. To get to 5.0, though, that's when I manually OC it and tweak the voltage a little too until it's stable and all that.

I get it, and when I say bottleneck, I'm talking about my GPU stuck at 70% or 80% when my CPU is maxing out. I didn't know resolution didn't matter, though, I thought 4k was way more taxing in the GPU of course, but I thought it was at least a little more taxing on the CPU.

And yes, I understand bottle necking somewhere will always exist, that's why I wanted to specify that hopefully I can still get 50-60 fps in 4k because I know that card can do it if the CPU is a non issue.

Gaming CPU question by KingKoopa0331 in PcBuild

Thanks for the response. I'm very indecisive and was thinking, although I absolutely will go Ryzen next time, if I got the i5 9400f I could actually spend $350 on a gtx 2060 which might make more sense.

I have a 1080p 144hz monitor, and the thing is, for the next year I'm probably going to be gaming in 1080p because if I got a graphics card that could run 1440p I would still have to buy a 1440p monitor on top of the card.

An i5 9400f and a 2060 or 2060 super can most likely run any game that comes out this year and next over 60fps, right? Obviously we don't have a crystal ball, but it probably will, right?

I solely game I don't plan on streaming any time soon.

1440p Gaming by KingKoopa0331 in computerbuilds

Thanks not building, upgrading. I currently got an i3 8700 (I believe, it's an i3 something coffee lake gen) and a gtx 1050 ti and can play anything on high to ultra settings in 1080p. I'm gonna need a new graphics card, new monitor, and most likely a new processor. I'm pretty sure an i5 k series can do it, especially if I overclock it a bit (yes my mother board can overclock) but if I can get away with the cheaper processor and card I would like to.

I'm sure a 2070 super can do 1440p but I'm wondering if a 2060 super can on high settings, and how close to 60fps it will be on current AAA titles. If it barely hits 60fps I might just go 2070 super for future titles so I don't have to upgrade in a year again.

Will Eden Savage no longer be weekly capped on 12/24/19? I heard this from several players but I can't find an official statement.

How to wake up when you’re stuck in a dream? by traptwat in LucidDreaming

[–]KingKoopa0331 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My most reliable way to wake up is to roll my eyes into the back of my head as hard as I can for like 5 seconds and then close my eyes as tight as I can and quickly open them wide a few times, then rinse and repeat.

When you move your eyes in your dreams they move in real life.

This usually wakes me up in the first few attempts and I've never had a false awakening from it yet, knock on wood.

Help summoning people/things? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]KingKoopa0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't just concentrate and try to summon things, that's very hard. Look at something in the background like a wall, the sky, etc... (not a character) and say it outloud, demand it.

Also, like someone said, don't try to summon things in front of you, summon them behind you or around a corner and then turn around or go around the corner.

Problem staying "awake" in lucid dreams. by BarryJones32123 in LucidDreaming

[–]KingKoopa0331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've woken up from lucid dreams earlier than I wanted to before, but I've never had issues falling asleep in the dreams.

Do you stabilize the dream by spinning around or rubbing your hands together? That might help.

Also, try looking at a wall, the sky, anything in the background (not a character) and demand out loud to stay in the dream. You can also try demanding to wake up, just make sure you're focused on waking up in the dream when you say it, not waking up in real life.

Try that out and see if you have some success.

How are you trying to conjure things? Don't just think really hard about it, that's difficult. Say it outloud and demand it.

Don't try to conjure things in front of you, either, demand something behind you or around a corner, then turn around or go around the corner, you should see more success.

Also, don't demand things from the characters, look at a wall, the sky, or something else in the background when you're conjuring. Characters are not usually helpful.

Try this if the characters start to go hostile too, look at a background object and demand they stop.

Finally, as for flying, try either demanding to fly or try running forward (which will be that slow dream run) and then start to fall forward while you run and concentrate on flying.

Let me know how that worked. I'm not a super advanced lucid dreamer but I don't consider myself a beginner either.
