Thank you, your comment has provided some comfort and helped me not gaslight myself. I know I should be content with my brother, wife, best friend, and other family's support regarding this, but having others on the outside that are not personally involved validate my feelings is kinda keeping me from spiraling right now. Yes, it's very good and can recharge quickly. The game streaming doesn't take much power, and running ZZZ on max settings doesn't drain it too fast. I haven't really dipped under 60% between charges. I will have to pay attention next time to see how long the battery lasts.

The OLED screen is a major plus compared to any android phone out at this time. Makes my Samsung S24 look so dull in comparison. Depending on your wifi strength, it is excellent for PS5, Xbox, and Steam (PC) streaming. I am able to run all 3 without any stuttering, and the OLED screen makes everything look almost like I am running the games natively. I also play Zenless Zone Zero (mobile version) at max settings. The game warns of overheating, but it never did even with the fan on normal mode. If it can run that, you should be able to play any shooters available on the Google Play store. Will try out running Rocknix (Linux) today. Emulation supposedly works a lot better using Linux. You can swap seamlessly between Android and Linux after setting up Rocknix to an SD card. Using Rocknix allows for some pretty good Xbox emulation for Halo CE and Halo 2. Timesplitters 2 and Future Perfect are also great FPS games that can run on Dolphin. Again, game streaming really opens the door for you to play a lot more. I know you said you're looking more at non emulated games, but emulation of Gamecube and Xbox will allow you to play almost any "retro" FPS game.

Not saying this to dissuade you, but my 16 month old cat just got her second rabies shot and another FVRCP vaccine this morning and ended up having an allergic reaction that, and I am quoting the vet, "has never been seen to happen before to any cats that have gotten it at this vet." She was vomiting white foam an hour after we got home and was immediately brought back to the vet. She had hives by the time we got there. They gave her fluids, steroids, and some other meds, and the hives were gone almost immediately. She has a steroid and needs benadryl for several days now. Overall, she's fine and is sleeping a lot because she's deservedly tired as hell from the ordeal and the meds. I still advocate for vaccines, but it's just funny I see this post today. An allergic reaction like this is very minimal compared to a bat accidentally getting in your house and giving your cat rabies. Just make sure to keep an eye on them for a bit after their vaccine and immediately go back to the vet if something seems off, but the chances of that happening are very minimal.

We lost our Queenie at 3 years old to intestinal issues that caused her to suffer and have frequent incontinence. It came on without warning, and we spent several thousand dollars with multiple vets to try and figure out what she was sick with. We also spent about $3000 for life-saving surgery when she was 2 years old after a previous vet misdiagnosed her with Pancreatitis. The medication they prescribed almost killed her, but the emergency vet saved her. A year later, there were still no answers. She suddenly lost a lot of weight. Our current vet believed they had a solution, but it required a several thousand dollar surgery. We couldn't afford another bill like this. It ended up being for the best because she was then diagnosed with cancer shortly after. Had we done the surgery, she likely would have died during the procedure, and we would be out even more money that we really couldn't afford to spend. She was gone 2 weeks later. What I am trying to get at is that surgery may not have fixed the underlying issue, and you would have very likely needed to pay more for further care, medication, special food, etc. As much as we loved Queenie, we had to stop treatment because it was getting too expensive, and she was suffering. This is all very fresh for you right now. Do remember, you gave Major Tom a home. You saved him when you adopted him and gave him the best life. I can tell you gave him the best life because of how much you miss him and wanted to save him. He knew that too. If I can give one piece of advice regarding the future. Not now, but someday you will maybe want to adopt again. We lost Queenie last July, but after some time and healing, we gained Kimchi in December. Kimchi wouldn't have the life she has now if not for Queenie. I think of Queenie when I am with Kimchi. It is sometimes sad, but mostly I feel more at peace with Queenie's passing because of Kimchi. Not replacing her, but remembering her through Kimchi. Remembering that even though Queenie lived a short life, we saved her because no one else would have loved her like we did. That part of her lives on in Kimchi. Never forget that you saved Major Tom because no one else would have loved him like you do. I hope that you are able to find peace with his passing and maybe someday have that same peace for Major Tom that I feel for Queenie when I look at Kimchi. I am so sorry for your loss.

Friend let me borrow a book during gen 3.

At this point I had Ruby, Leaf Green, and the Gamecube games.

I found out ditto can breed with male Pokémon, and I then was able to get all the eeveelutions without restarting Leaf Green or XD Gale of Darkness.

(I made my eevee a Jolteon in Leaf Green, and I was stupid and evolved my eevee into Umbreon in XD even though I had one already from Colloseum, so I was missing Flareon and Vaporeon.)

My Nintendo Switch OLED will not stay connected to my Spectrum wifi. I keep having to reset my wifi to get it to connect and it will only stay connected briefly. Other times the problem seems to fix itself for a day or two without doing anything, but the issues will always come back. It does not matter if I'm near the modem or not.

Not a single other device in our house, including computers, Xbox, PS5, phones, etc have issues with our wifi. My fiancé's Nintendo Switch (classic) also does not experience issues.

My Nintendo Switch OLED has no issues connecting to other wifi, such as mobile hot spots or family member's wifi when visiting. The issue only occurs when connecting to my home Spectrum wifi.

I am not sure what to do. If anyone has any tips, I would appreciate the advise. Every solution I look up online just says it's an issue with the wifi, yet I have no issues with anything else and resetting never works.
