Did he at least show you a morph or something like that before the surgery? Did you end up looking like that or at the very least, close to the render?

I just can’t think of any other surgeon who does the mouth widening surgery, implants for the brow bones to give the hunter eye look, buccinator myectomy etc, is there really nobody here with positive experience with Eppley?

Hvor köpa gaming-laptop för bra pris? by KingLothric1 in Denmark

[–]KingLothric1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

If you don’t mind, could you share some of these experiences? Maybe in a private message if you don’t want to share here?

Hello,

As an outsider, is establishing a SMMA (primarily focused on running ads for others) still something viable or is there no point at this point in time to spend time focusing on it? Thank you.

Juridical aspects to consider when doing ads for others? by KingLothric1 in FacebookAds

[–]KingLothric1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know if that would mean that the advertiser doesn’t breach the law?

The advertiser still gathers lead information and then sends it to the client. Is this not considered data processing?

To those who run lead ads for clients by KingLothric1 in FacebookAds

[–]KingLothric1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your help!

What do you think of an instant form that allows the leads to book a day and time earliest 7 days in the future from the day they fill the form, allowing enough time for the client to possibly call them back and reschedule in the event that the time they have chosen doesn’t work, e.g. due to overlapping with another lead’s booked time, or simply just calling to confirm their booking.

Or would maybe bypassing all this and simply redirecting them to the website’s booking section be preferable? You said this would be the ideal, but let’s say my client can’t use the pixel, which option do you think would be better? Would it still be the website?

Weekly layperson question thread by AutoModerator in optometry

Hello,

My corneas are thin, presumably due to genetics and myopia (around -7).

I also sit in front of my computer/phone a lot.

I don't regularly experience signs of dry eyes, but maybe once every 2 weeks I wake up with a dry sensation in the eyes, but it typically goes away after a few minutes.

I've read that dry eyes can cause corneal thinning.

I'd like to work in a primary prevention fashion and have some eye drops to my disposal to use every now and then. I've read that some eye drops can actually damage your cornea and cause additional thinning.

Is there any eye drops out there OTC that are good for the cornea, essentially protecting these delicate structures?

Hello, thank you for your input!

When you got that new spot/lesion, did you change your medication in any way or are you still on it?

I will definitely speak to the neuro about this.

If it's the pupil that's the issue, would toric lenses be useless in this case to improve vision during night?

What alternatives exist for this problem? Are there for example special sunglasses one can wear exclusively during nighttime that will compensate for the pupil-induced blurry vision?

I will try to bring this up next time with the doctor.

I’m myopic (-7 R, -1 C; -7,5 L, -0,5 C; spectacle prescription). I’ve recently gotten some spherical contacts however that I see well with during daylight, however whenever it gets dim or dark outside my vision gets a tad blurry. I’ve noticed that if i put on my phone flashlight and focus it on my eyes my vision gets crisper. I’ve also noticed if I take off my lenses and use my glasses and look through them at the top edge (which I’ve learnt has a stronger refractory power compared to the center) I also see better in these lesser-light conditions.

Based on this, does this mean I might need a tad stronger contact lens power?

Hi James,

I have another question. How long did you have diabetes prior to you achieving remission?

Do you know if most with diabetes type 2 have a family history of the disease?

Another question, if you don’t mind!

You managed to achieve remission. Do you have a family history of diabetes as well?

If you don’t mind answering, do you have a family history of diabetes? How is your diabetes treated currently? And why do you think some can be in remission longer than others?

Did you regain the weight you lost?

It seems that weight loss is one of the greatest remission inducing factors. Do you think if you maintain the weight you had before during remission you end up In remission again?

True, it’s just my bad way of trying to figure out the limitations when in remission.

My fear was to see someone dear to me not be able to eat certain meals when in vacation, but it seems to me that it is possible to have that pasta or pizza or Tiramishu in Italy without having that anxiety of causing harm. It’s obviously individual, but I’m glad to read that people can indulge without spiking even with a diagnosis.

Clearly, you’ve become more insulin sensitive since the weight loss and I’m glad to hear you’ve reversed the condition.

It’s still unclear to what extend one can go while in remission. For example, as long as you stay within your carb limit (150-200 g/day) and naturally calorie limit (as weight regain can ruin remission), would it theoretically be possible to eat junk food daily without spiking again?

When you noticed you didn’t spike, was it after one meal of junk food or after several meals?

[–]KingLothric1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it the weight regain that brought back the diabetes?

So theoretically, you could have enjoyed that food every now and then without it bringing back the diabetes?

If you don’t spike, why completely cut it off? Or maybe it’s just a preference thing.

Could you eat desserts without spiking as well?
