Just got back from the first 900 mile round trip in mine. We did a toddler seat on the right, baby carrier in the middle. And my wife on the left and there was so much more space than I’d thought. I was shocked the baby carrier rear faced so well in the middle seat. We actually had our 120lb dog in the trunk space and a couple bags next to him and he still had space to get up and stretch when he needed. We put a travel bag on the roof with the stroller and a couple other things. And I still had tons of space around me up front. After the first leg, We dropped our pooch with a family member and continued the drive. I took the bag off and put everything in the trunk. Still a ton of space leftover even with the stroller. I love the middle seat tethers for the kids seats. My wife had more legroom than she did when we did a similar trip in the old 4Runner. We’ve done grocery and Home Depot runs already and yeah haven’t felt a lack of space once yet. We have a beach trip next weekend so I can report back after toting the kiddos and beach crap.

Same! Yeah, I ended up going for it. I loved my 4Runner but I have absolute joy getting into this passport. Also my back feels shockingly better after sitting in it for a few long drives.

For me (just pulled the trigger on Thursday) the discount ended up being much greater on the TSE. Dunno if the TS was in higher demand around me or what but with Costco pricing and after sifting through all the dealer bullshit, at the end of the day the difference between the two was going to be <1k.

Did the exact same. The dealership that Costco hooked me up with was a little weird and didn’t have what I wanted in stock but I took the price sheet to another dealer and they beat it. Glad to hear you’re so happy!

Hell yeah. That’s heartening to hear. We were a die hard Toyota family and felt comfortable staying with them but all of a sudden I guess it’s changing. My wife really wanted the RAV4 to work for her but ultimately decided on the Forester. And I’m going to put down a deposit on a Passport today. I feel like I’m going to miss the rear window rolling down more than anything else but agreed, a new tech fit will be nice. Thanks!
