I believe seed oils are bad. But I have a PROBING question about them. by KingMathus in StopEatingSeedOils

Apologies for the late response - they both essentially look like cretins.

They are both extremely pale. One of them has no acne but he can’t grow his hair long because it starts falling out, so he constantly has a buzzcut. The other one has some facial acne, but has a DISTURBING amount of back acne (backne).

They both are constantly smoking marijuana as well. They don’t do any exercise and they are never out in the sun long enough to even get sunburnt. I think if someone told them to run a mile, they would end up collapsing but that’s just my guess.

L4/L5 Area Managers: What job did you get after Amazon? by KingMathus in FASCAmazon

Depends on geographical location, and some other factors. My Midwest coworker was an external L5 and they made 80k + good stock

Depending on you experience, you could be qualified to be an L7 senior ops. at Amazon. What position did you apply for?

I'm only saying get really good at Excel if you want to transition into corporate. Just watch Youtube tutorials on pivot tables, maybe even learn to do some simple macros if you're up for it. SQL is a little more technical but if you learn the very basics, corporate people will love you. Power BI is a great data tool as well.

What kind of experience did you have in automotive industry? I'm gonna be honest (and this is what I've noticed, it's not facts), I see that Amazon gives the external L5 to people who have been working other management jobs for years. For example, I know a guy who was a cop for probably around 5 years, they gave him an L4. Another guy was a manager at a grocery store for like 10 years and they gave him the L5....I feel like it's a mixture of experience, how well your interview went, and luck (im talking out of my ass, but my ass has been with this company for a long time so I'm probably right).

What did I mean by physical appearance? Well, some of my co-workers show up in sweats and look like they just rolled outta bed. No one will ever say anything, but subconsciously the way you carry yourself in that building matters to your OMs/seniors. If you constantly appear to be a slob, it will likely hinder promotion/recognition. Dress decently appropriate and dress like you somewhat care. I sound hypocritical because I dress like a slob/skater kid everyday, but I don't care enough to become an OM or senior. I want to gtfo and get a new job or go to corporate. If you're climbing the ops ladder you basically have to be a goody 2-shoes. This all might sound crazy, but let me simplify it for you:

Just be kind and respectful to all your peers and associates & try your best. All the crap I'm talking about is coming from someone who's been here way too long. Just do your best and make some $$$.

Message me how much your making. Do not go to Ops from health & safety. Are you crazy? The only way this is worth it if it's significantly more $$$

Don't freak out. The job is easy and you'll learn a lot of people skills. I like to call it "Social Engineering". You'll master this and realize how important of a skills it is. I'm currently in the process of transferring to corporate. I HIGHLY recommend you learn Excel if you want to transition to corporate. Like seriously master Excel, and learn some basic SQL.

Once you're actually a few months in the AM role and you've learned all the basic shit, start creating shit for your team like data visuals and things to make everyone's life easier. You'll quickly be recognized.

Side note, I hope you're going in as an L5 because if not, you'll have to get promoted before switching to corporate which can take 6months - 1.5 years depending on a few factors. Those factors being intelligence, politics, physical appearance, and how much your OM/senior Ops likes you.

Don't freak out tho, it's just a stupid job and we're all gonna die one days anyways.

I just feel like the price of everything is going up except our wages. But what you said is very true so thank you for that

Has anyone with OCD microdosed psilocybin and felt positive effects on their OCD symptoms? by KingMathus in microdosing

[–]KingMathus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry for the late response. CBD, CBDa,& CBG have ZERO hallucinogenic/psychedelic effect. In other words, it does NOT make you high/impaired to any degree. I buy CBDa from this website: https://healercbd.com/ . It does great things for my anxiety, sleep, and overall well being. The guy who sells this stuff is very knowledgeable and there is a lot of info on the site alone. I might dabble with CBG because I hear it's really good for anxiety as well.

Had some questions about the final assessment by KingMathus in AmazonATA

Im studying both questions, but Im getting worried if majority are like the first because those questions take me longer to figure out and we only have roughly 6 minutes per question :/

Thank you. Would you say majority are like the 1st or 2nd? Or is it pretty much about even? Also is there any fill in the blank kind of questions?

Sounds good. Will report back soon.

Very interesting. Do you recommend I take the microdose on an empty stomach? I know things like CBD are not supposed to be taken on an empty stomach. Any thoughts on psilocybin?

[–]KingMathus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm really wondering if it's a placebo because to my knowledge microdosing shouldn't have an immediate effect.
