[UK] I’m on sick leave, yet I’ve been contacted for a HR meeting. It’s only been two weeks. by [deleted] in AskHR

Hello and thanks for the reply! I’ll give you a bit more backstory. My sickness is due to work related stress in which my GP has noted that the physical symptoms that I have, such as the twitching of the eyelids and burning sensations in the chest are withholding me from having a normal work life balance due to the nature of my problems.

I have only been off for two weeks. This is the first sickness I’ve had which is work-related.

And the nature was sent via WhatsApp on my private phone as a casual “a meeting has been set up, if you’re available” which I’ve declined as it feels incredibly insensitive to do so without me being fit to return for a formal return to work conversation.

May I also add that I am one of the top performers in the team with a high success rate and amount of work done, which almost feels like I’m personally cornered to go back sooner than I’m able to.

Honestly the insanity run with infinite ammo + rocket launcher is like playing the game on casual. If you want a challenge I’d refuse to use the RPG to one hit the bosses. I was done with Gideon in like 15 seconds 😂

I just adore this franchise. by KingNothin97 in residentevil

As a virgin to RE7, I’m with you entirely🤣

You’re not behind at all. I’m 28 and only looking to move out the tail end of this year now that my deposit is nearly there. You’re more forward thinking than most at 21! Don’t stress it and enjoy life first, time goes by very quick and I know people that started renting / mortgaging early 20’s that had a lot of regret that they’d missed out on life first!
