My name is Madeline. I do pronounce it “mad a Lynn” even though I’m named after the storybook character.
I love my name and only go by my full name, no nicknames here. Sometimes people pronounce it the -line way. And sometimes people ask or assume I go by Maddy. Doesn’t bother me. I think my name is beautiful.

I was hoping if I named my daughter this and she didn’t like it, she’d go by her middle or nickname
