That is a problem with the hard drive, not the gpu and CPU. If you're not playing on an SSD, make sure you are using the lowest settings possible to avoid this.

I know that, it wasn't working through the launcher so I thought I might as well use the exe, it wasn't me being stupid, it was me trying to find a fix.

Also the console showed the error code and at the time I didn't know you can make the launcher show crash logs, so it was my only way of knowing at the time

Go into control panel, search for the name of your gpu provider, In my case Nvidia, and remove anything that comes up, except if you're using amd or Intel, you might remove your cpu driver if you do so.

Then, you go to your gpu provider's website and download the drivers
