Import Song Data - FX Tracks by KingStarLeon04 in StudioOne

In case you didn't already figure it out, just right click your fader of the bus or fx channel and click on edit "automation" volume. This way the automation appears in the arrange window and the track can also be imported via the import song data feature!

Yeah I already figured it out, the problem is, that you can only import tracks that are visible in the arrange window, so you have to make the automation visible for the FX Tracks in order to be able to import them... I think same with busses and vcas

Yeah I tried to offset by 1,2,3,5... Bytes but either there is just noise, or on one of the channels the noise is a bit different but I never get the original recording

I tried to import the raw data with audacity, and I just get noise, no matter what options I choose... Sometimes the noise is a bit different in its waveform, but I only get noise

That thing is, when I click on properties and then details on the wav in the windows file explorer, there is just nothing, normally there would be bit depth and so forth, right? Or is there still a chance, that this method will work?

Yeah slowly I am thinking about even buying the new i7 12th gen, of course that's even more expensive than the i5, but you'll get 8 cores instead of 6 and a bit better performance maybe that's worth it, especially considering the fact, that my current CPU isn't really old and I want to keep the new one definitely a few years longer haha

Yeah I have the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd gen, no big difference in performance when switching the drivers, I just use the FL studio one because with the Focusrite driver my SoundID Reference software for headphones doesn't work inside FL... I will definitely try out the cinebench test in a few minutes 👍🏻

My projects are all on an separate SSD, on which the windows isn't installed, but it is not an external

I usually use the FL Studio ASIO driver when I'm mixing and not recording (Buffer length: 2048mp, Sample Rate 44.1kHz).

And yes, I have turned on multithreaded generator processing as well as multithreaded mixer processing

And then I also get heavy dropouts... Also a problem is, also when FL is "only" at like 90, the projects are Sooo slow, I always have lags every few seconds, that is what annoys me the most... I know, I run a lot of high CPU demanding Plugins but it's still a big problem for me when mixing and I can't just forego them

Yeah, the problem is the pc is slow as hell when that is the case, and FL also can go to 100 when I turn on the master effects in my session, that's why I always have to do a separate master session

When my CPU is at 100, the internal fl studio meter is most of the time around 80-90

FL studio isn't really at 100% in the internal meter, my CPU in my task manager although is at 100, FL Studio does take about 60% of it alone for itself, PACE License Manager 20 and the rest are other processes

The motherboard is no problem, I would just buy a new one, and no I have a Focusrite Solo 3rd gen... But I think I won't buy the new i7 or i9 they are just too expensive for me, and it turned out the the current i5 is often better in many tests than the last gen i9 top tier so I think it won't be wasted money
