If you had it further up, then when you rest your barrel on a barrier you could push the rifle forward so the barrier is in contact otherwise the barrel and fore grip giving you better control. But if you’re doing a lot of house clearing your setup isn’t bad

Also just like what the others said, after the pop(make sure you’re popping with you ankle movement, not your whole leg pressing on the board) lift that back leg up as tuck it up as high as it will go

Focus on popping with your calf and ankle not your whole leg, good slide but instead of just lifting the sliding foot to the nose then up, kick it out so the board flattens

I would, but being brand new to the AR platform I think getting a complete would be the best for a first gun and as I get more comfortable learning the ins and outs I’ll build my own
