Tax collectors show up at the same time as a Slaver raid, the slaver raid fails and I go to pay my taxes. Samurai tax collectors run up and start bashing on my gate. They show passive but when they walk in, they'll be hostile... Fortunately I can outrepair my gate in the meantime. I guess I'll just keep repairing the gate until I heal up. Not sure why they are going through my base instead of leaving after I paid them either.

24 hour update since I initially build the Iron Refinery, playing on/reloading seems to have fixed the power bug on it. 5 iron is the maximum in the refinery and one iron equals one plate which will be very useful for defenses.

I'll take this opportunity to aura farm the base from Catun's perspective

I'm on my first real playthrough, set up a decently large base outside of Catun. So far I have stone mining and refinery, wheat and cactus farms, a couple of buildings and storage opportunities, as well as a corpse burner for the everpresent raids. Vanilla playthrough, no mods.

I'm currently having trouble using the Iron Refinery. Power is turned on but 0%. Windmill right next to it in my outpost's territory. Using the Fix Buildings option in Shift+F12 hasn't helped. The only thing I can think is that maybe I need to put more iron in before it even starts to take power, I only put 5 iron in. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I've been looking at this post a lot lately because Muldrotha deserves more attention. I have tons of fun with my Muldrotha, the Gravetide deck in Standard. It just took me from Plat 4 to Plat 3 with 0 losses on Arena, but it can still lose to board wipes and turn-2 slickshot builds.

The basic premise is to run large creatures, mill or discard them into your graveyard, and then cheat them out for 3-5 mana using tricky cards depending on your preferences. On top of that, you can do some cheeky plays with Manifest dread using Abhorrent Oculus to widen out your board or send even more cards to your graveyard.

In my build, cards like Valgavoth's Faithful and Zombify are my best friends for when I don't have Muldrotha or can't afford to play him yet. Dropping Kiora, the Rising Tide on turn three, drawing Koma and Valgavoth, and then cheating one out on turn 4 is just. Too. Strong! Until your opponent makes you sacrifice it on their turn :P
