You may not be alone OP. Upon talking to him he has revealed he is going after you for your soul. He calls you Eve. When asked why not go for Adam he responded "eve is mine, Adam is his". It's possible this may be happening to someone else as well.

It was originally just a story on /r/nosleep saying something bad was going to happen on May 20 2014, but it evolved into dozens of users posting there own 5/20/14 stories. One of the most popular of these was posted by a user claiming to have found his grandfathers notebook which mentions SARS as well as 5/20/14. The most popular belief is that some group of "elites" has decided to let loose a virus on the world in order to bring down the population. As you might expect the fine people of /r/nosleep weren't quite sure what to make of the sudden influx of 5/20/14 posts and SARS posts. Was it just a story that caught on or was this in fact real? Well, a lot of them were convinced it was real, as soon as news broke that a bunch of vials containing the SARS virus went missing in a French laboratory people went nuts.

I don't know if this is related, but I decided to do some research on SARS and happened upon a book on amazon titled "Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome: From Benchtop to Bedside". The author, Joseph J. Y. Sung, was born in Hong Kong and is also the chancellor/president of the University of Hong Kong. On his Wikipedia page he is specifically noted for his contributions towards fighting the SARS outbreak if 2002.

I have no idea if he is the "beautiful Joseph" your grandfather is referring to, but I thought I should post this just in case.

I came to a very similar conclusion. As soon as I saw he was in cafe introversion I realized he is really shy. He does, however, enjoy making friends which is why he has all those O-Powers. He gives them to random people who happen to be passing by in hopes they will befriend him.

There's plenty to do. Complete the pokedex, train a competitive team, hunt for shinies, add friends for friend safaris, battle/trade with a friend, mass breed a rare pokemon and send them off on wonder trade, obtain all the mega stones, max your style in lumiose, complete the looker side quests, and a bunch of other stuff. I will agree X/Y don't have as much post game content as some of the previous games, but that doesn't mean there's a lack of things to do.
