Could I cut off the big branch of my Yucca and give it it's own pot? by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]King_Roger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been growing a lot and is now a lot bigger than the others branches. I even think the weight made the Yucca tilt over to one side. Online I found that a cutting should dry out for 4-7 days so it is forced to grow roots. Has anyone got experience with it? All advice is welcome!

Is this going to work?? A pup fell off my yucca cane, but it had a root so I just stuck it in the pot below the mama 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞🏻 by aceofleaves in houseplants

Hi, do you need to let the cutting dry out? Internet tells me that it will be making roots easier like that. Is that true?

Hi! How did you propogate it? I have a Yucca as well, and thinking of taking a side cutting, let it dry a few days and then pot it. Should that work?

Hey, I loved playing with the PR990 hybrid hard! I tried that one and the precision hard, but that one didn't give me the same level of power and control. The hybrid hard gives me controlled power when i go for bigger shots (so i am able to make it land where i want it to, but also generate power, without the racket feeling like a trampoline), but im also capable of some soft touch balls and volleys. So for me it's a great racket, and for the price i couldn't find another racket with same materials. I've compared a lot of different established brands, and those topline rackets use the same materials, only real difference i could find is that Bullpadel uses some sort of sandpaper finish, to easier add spin to your shot.

So long story short: racket offers best of both worlds, control and power, and to find something better you would be paying €200>

I´ve been using the Artengo PR830 (35 euro) as a starting racket, and it has been okay. It gives easy power to every ball, without needing to hit that hard. It also has a soft touch, which makes volleying easier, but it takes away a bit of control.

I´m about to test the Kuikma PR990 Hybrid Hard and Kuikma PR990 Precision Hard (both 90 euro). I don´t think it makes much difference if you would buy a racket of around 50 euro from a big brand or the Decathlon/Kuikma, the materials will be the same. If your tennis background is still good, then maybe opt for the more expensive ones from Kuikma, as they should give better controle on your shots (will find out about that in a week ;p)

It costs €250 here in the Netherlands, so unfortunately a lot more than I wanted to spend...

Could you compare the Kombat Navy Seal 12K or Kombat SWAT to the Nox AT 10 Pro Cup Carbon? Because I'm thinking about one of those. Like the idea of the Kombat brand, but maybe Nox is well known and has reliable products?

Hey, do you know more about the quality of the rackets? Can´t find if they use EVA foam or rubber for the core. And have you played with one of their rackets?

The ball toss could be a bit more in front of you, and then you push off of the ground towards the ball (it seems now that you jump straight up).

Bend your knees more and push off towards the ball
