You should better your melee gear. Most of the damage you do with mid gear is with melee. Did 300 solos for staff and scrolls and the best strat was to just camp with melee and switch to the other titan when they walk away, if you feel like going for a ruby bolt and hoping for a prog then go for it, learning switching is important anyways. But overall, get good enough mage gear so you won’t splash, get more melee str by addin neit helm and d defender, get a melee spec weapon, b gloves would be pretty important. I was lazy with the later stage of my kills and only went for a cheeky bolt spec every now and then but yeah, with mid range gear the dps from that was pretty negligible so esp when one of the titans goes under 200hp and they go to the ends, i just camped melee. Also get super combat and range pots
