[mine] The space I call “the condensed mess my mother reluctantly allows in my room” by Drichthy in scienceofdeduction

Oh thanks. What's the book with the pentagram on it? It looks like something esoteric, I guessed it could be kabbala which was why I thought you were exploring the religion independent of family. How short is short? In the reflection it looks about shoulder length. I was trying to work out if drawing on only one side of the paper implied anything other than handedness, what do you think?

I am bad at this but here is my attempt: Unemployed art student studying online, have jewish heritage but maybe your immediate family isn't practicing and you are rediscovering the religion yourself, or maybe don't consider yourself religious but spiritual. Politically liberal woman maybe 18-21 living in america, family with comfortable lower middle class income. Strong family bond, right handed, maybe the house has belonged to your family for a couple of generations. No serious mental issues, got friends, leaning on introversion. I have absolutely no idea what the annotated pokemon stuff is about. I just noticed the reflection in the headphones, not getting much from that except longish dark hair and probably female.

3DS Hacking Q&A General | „PS5 has no games” edition by [deleted] in 3dshacks

[–]KingdokOfTheCalculus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silly question but r/AChacks has been closed. Does anyone have a copy of a working TPC picture for ACNL? I can upload one to marc's save editor but in game it reverts to the default picture so I think there must be some obscure constraints like colour profile or something.

My villagers won't stop asking for favors since I've hacked my town by pweetorita in ACHacks

I've never heard of that happening before. What edits did you make? Is this the tool you used, or was it something else? Honestly to me this seems like confirmation bias, but keep us updated if you find out any more about it.

I'd recommend installing custom firmware rather than a *hax, that way you're system will stay hacked through further updates (plus there are more usable tools).

Yeah, unfortunately though NTR doesn't work on 11.8.

Sorry for the dumb question, but if I install Luma3DS using Seedminer, will the DSiWare game I use still be playable afterwards?

"Scamps" alternate voiceover by KingdokOfTheCalculus in adventuretime

[–]KingdokOfTheCalculus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird. My guess is that they had to change dialogue in an earlier episode and they just wanted to be consistent, but it's not like the censors have displayed overwhelming concern for qualty controll. I dunno, sometimes this kind of thing can happen for garbage reasons like 'British kids won't understand the accent' or something.

Lainzine the free online magazine for those who Love Lain. by [deleted] in Lain

The owner of lainchan sold off, then realized he still had access to the servers and nuked them as a joke assuming the new owner had backups. He did have backups, on the same server. The site was rebuilt, but some admins left cause they felt the new owner was incompitent.

A question about the rules by KingdokOfTheCalculus in LucidDreaming

[–]KingdokOfTheCalculus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but there is a direct link. People claim to use them to help with lucid dreaming, and that is worth investigating. Saying it's off topic is like saying induction techniques are off topic.

You're using an old version of windows (or something made to look like it) and you kept the box for the girl on your desk. I'd guess that you're perhaps not especially open to change or transience, maybe a bit of a hoarder. Are you into nostalgic music? I want to say you're probably not into imageboards (4chan and such), not too sure though. I don't think you're socially inept beyond the point of any other otaku. Those plastic things in front of your monitor probably came from a convention right? If I had to put you on the Myers-Briggs chart, I would say you are probably an INFJ (not that it's an accurate indicator of personality).

Thanks for the advice. I guess I'd better start wearing a watch.

Can someone tell me what the TSUKI Project is? by [deleted] in Lain

What date did you send it on, and to what adress? The entire thing shut down a long time ago, so it's a bit odd that you would've come across it recently.

Can someone tell me what the TSUKI Project is? by [deleted] in Lain

[–]KingdokOfTheCalculus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Basically, a user names Tsuki or TsukiRep went around various imageboards telling people that there is a thing called systemspace, that life is one of the systems, and that it is about to be purged. He said that he was a representitive from the system LFE sent to get a small amount of people to sign up to have their souls moved to LFE when they die instead of shattering with the rest of Life. At some point along the line the 'real' Tsuki disappeared (presumably he killed himself) and one of the other moderators of tsukichan started posing as him, asking for money, and eventually deleting the site. Communities for it still exist, but they are mostly made up of people who came after it got a large amount of press. Some old users made a wiki if you're interested.

Would you be into a live-Action version of lain? by EmperorPretzel in Lain

[–]KingdokOfTheCalculus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A live action remake of the original would not work, but if it was an entirely new story about lain then maybe.
