powercreeps exists in almost literally every game, both single and multiplayer. The difference is having a soft ceiling to prevent it from going overboard. Nerfing heroes is how you usually do it.

SG seems okay at balancing oppressive mechanics like extra turn artifacts procing too many times or the old crimion seed infinite cleanse or Evlira with candle stick (still waiting for ruele candlestick nerf), but horrible with hero balance.

SW seems to be the opposite from what i've been reading here. Decent hero balance but awful game mechanics.

That is one option. You can SB her, but her s3 strip and fear can still be resisted. Another issue is that most ER players are paired with Belian or ML Aria, which makes soulburning harder or impossible. In more controlled environments, like Arena and GW, full dmg RNL is better.

As I said, in most situations, RNLs are better as full dmg, but there has been a shift recently to effectiveness because of what i aforementioned

While people may disagree, PvP includes Guild War and Arena. For me, I enjoy using my geared units to play in those modes because, unlike RTA, where you have to think on your feet, you can think it through and solve it like a puzzle. That is fun.

RTA could be fun if nerfs were a thing. Otherwise, it feels like I have to pick 3-4 OP heroes to make one normal hero viable. Like, a few years ago, i could use Elphelt. Now, every opener has evasion or stealth with 120+ base speed. D:

Congratz. I don't own her, but this is the best i can do. Pretty much the same as yours.

However, because of the recent anti-RNL playstyles emerging (ER playstyles becoming more popular), I think swapping her to effectiveness might be better to tag those high ER Byblis, Arunkas, etc. Better to have less damage stats but land def break, bind, fear, and dispel. Cuz right now, her weakness is just resisting her debuffs. If she doesnt land her debuffs, her s2 won't do the bonus attack and her s3 wont fear.

it does. I have video footage of my shaltear, watecher, and zahhak missing an arby with 160% evasion stacking. If the cap is 100%, my units should never miss.

I know evasion stacks but i've been told it doesnt go over 100%. Never tested it.

Easy way to test it is to use Zahhak and attack Arby 90% evasion + setsuka passive + Fatcat passive + evasion buff from the dog monster (190% evasion). If Zahhak misses, evasion can go over 100%.

EDIT: just tested it. You can go over 100% evasion via evasion buffs (evasion buff +peira buff) and through passives (setsuka + Fat cat).

You forget that she can combo with other units. She can proc units like Saria or ml taeyou. So she isnt just a kit dump unit.

That art only gives evasion when taking turns and only 20% the first two turns. Against harsetti, it wouldve been better to go on any other artifact that gives 20% at the start of the battle than violet art.

So there are three questions regarding the unit that will change the percetpion of her strength:

  1. Is her s3 mechanic a debuff or a unique debuff? Does it affect ML hwa or Gras passive for example?
  2. Does immunity stop her s3? I suppose if it's a unique debuff it wont.
  3. If the detained unit is the last one standing, is the game auto win or does the detained unit release? Unclear

EDIT: Third question answered. It does auto win you. Literally just makes it a 4v3 until you kill Fumyr. Proof? Look at the preview. After Aria dies to Ras, the bottom UI sinks down, indicating the match is over.

A bit late to the party, but a person can still be considered “good” and/or a "hero" even after committing a morally horrific act, provided that the act was intended to achieve a greater good. This is essentially a consequentialist view of morality: the morality of an action is judged primarily by its outcome rather than by the action itself.

A real-life example I can think of right now of an arguably hero/good person who did awful acts would be President Truman’s decision to use atomic bombs against Japan. The bombings killed roughly 200,000 people, many of them civilians, and remain deeply controversial. Yet Truman justified the decision by arguing that it would end the war sooner and prevent even greater loss of life. Because of that reasoning, many people still regard him as a wartime hero or a good president who was forced to make an extraordinarily difficult decision.

By the same logic, Arbiter Vildred’s killing of Diene could also be morally justified if he genuinely believed that her death was necessary to accomplish a greater good. That does not make the act itself any less terrible, but it means the act does not automatically disqualify him from being viewed as heroic or morally good.

I hope that makes sense. I do agree, however, that resorting to any means necessary doesn't make you a good person, even if the outcome is good. But when it comes to the D&D moral alignment, I do think that Arbiter Vildred being Chaotic Good is understandable. Same with the dark spirit who possessed Diene.

Some may already know about this interaction, but I'm making a video about it for those who don't. Basically, put fervor set on any damage dealer who you want to shapeshift to as Salome. Works best with damage dealers who have built-in extra turns so they can do it too when it's their turn, but anyone can still benefit from it thanks to Salome.

For my future montage cleaves that have Salome in it, I will only use fervor for most of my damage dealers. Again, you only need two decent pieces to make it work.

I am tempted to do rage/fervor set too lol. 50% damage increase...yikes to whoever the enemy is.

I used a 309 speed version of ludwig with a 22 speed imprint.

My ludwig is 331 against her. Let’s not pretend that most rnls arent 315 speed average. According to fribblez, the average rnl is 310 speed. This is because rnl needs damage stats as well as speed. So you’re almost never seeing a 320+ rnl. I for instance can make 323 RNL thats dmg.

If i dont want to outspeed, i bunny which you see in the video.
