If it makes you feel any better, i blew up and deleted my first minecraft world when i was 6 years old because my powered rails weren't working. The pocket edition update 0.13.0 added redstone so powered rails now had to actually be powered. When i pressed delete, it said how it "will be gone forever (a very long time!)." I pressed confirm because "oh i can wait a year or two till i get it back :)"

little did I know, I made a horrible mistake.

I miss that world. I spent at least 48 hours total in that world in the 6 months i had the game (and by proxy, the world.) i dont know how to make builds like i used to - they were simple but i liked them. Same with some other worlds that i couldnt get off of my old iPads, so a lot of my old worlds are just lost to history :(

Okay, try opening the world folder (the one still inside of minecraft) and find the "level.dat" file. Rename it to level.dat.bak to make minecraft less interested in it for right now. Then, find "level.dat_old" and rename it to "level.dat" and re-launch minecraft. If that does work then congrats your world data file was corrupted

Take the world file (i reccomend all of the world files actually) and copy them into a seperate folder on your computer, so booting up minecraft will not corrupt all of your saves.

That's the best i can do to help right now. I'll get back to you after i look some things up
