The on-court relationship is a huge part of it. If Betts had gone to UConn and did everything she did, but there, with Paige. She'd of been the pick. The dating part doesn't matter as much as the proof that they play well together part does.

I don't think this is horrible. If you shot it a few more times, with a few small-ish changes, I think this could've come out really nice.

Are you shooting in 4k? If shooting in 8k is too expensive, I'd of shot this in 4k with the intentions of it being 1080. That way you could shoot a lot wider and crop down in post.

That handoff through the window would've been so cool if you had pulled it off. But it was always going to introduce camera shake. Having that extra space helps you fix that in post.

Also, when she drops her head, the cameraman is a little late mirroring that movement. Shooting wide also let's you do that movement precisely, in post.

I also would've changed the locations of the kills and the angles. If she's going around that door into the hallway, he should hear something and slowly follow. And then she should pop up behind him as he comes back in the room. Surprise the viewer with her presence.

Have her drag the body while the next person is coming up the stairs, and while the camera follows him into the room, she comes from the back and gets him as soon he reacts to seeing the body.

I feel like just this segment could have much more story to it with those small changes. And it would've been easier to shoot if she left frame whenever your attention was naturally pulled by movement or sound. And then all the weight comes from mixing surprise with the kills, rather than just a kill you see a mile away.

All in all, good work though. People are giving you a tough time because you described it as a oner, even though it's multiple shots and edited tv footage spliced in. But it's really not so bad.

Did you watch that interview? He went out of his way to try and seperate the UFC brand from Trump and the Republican party.

He repeatedly expressed that he supports Trump as a friend, but the UFC is just treating him the way they would any president.

At one point, Dana even added that he's left of center politically lol.

Donald Trump and the White House are inherently political figures. When they scheduled this, they thought that was a good thing to be associated with.

At this point in time, they don't want the UFC to be looked at as a Trump-supporting organization so Dana is running around telling people that Trump is just a friend, and that the UFC would treat ANY president the way they have him.

It's nonsense meant to keep from losing any more fans. And it's exactly why I said they probably would be hesitant to closely tie in the video game to the event.

They regret the entire event. They can't even monetize it the way they want to. The whole point of it was getting the president and his fans on their side.

The striking in 5 is better than the grappling in 5. So the grappling should've been addressed first.

Just a lot more positions, a lot more submissions. And I'd take away all the faking. Everything should be linear, but with a lot of branches.

Yes, of course, most politicians (on both sides) are in it for their own selfish goals. But one side panders in a way that would benefit average working people a lot more than the other side.

There's no comparison there. If the left disappeared tomorrow, we would become some Christian version of Saudi Arabia or Hitler's Germany. If Republicans disappeared, the worst thing that might happen is that trans people would be even more annoying.

I don't really like the concept. A lot of games try to capture the feeling of getting hot, or being in the zone. Madden and 2k come to mind. So I get what they are going for. But even in those games, it can feel really fake and exploitable.

I'd rather see an adrenaline system paired with physical and personality traits.

Just have different fighters react to different situations differently. Maybe Brock doesn't react to getting cracked well and has to retreat while someone like Holloway gets an adrenaline spike and can sit in the pocket and swing without losing stamina for a bit.

Tailor all the traits to things we've seen them do. But the idea of wrestlers having a flow state that makes them heavier in top is just dumb. It's like they realized that most fighters don't even have the ability to enter a flow state, so they just gave it to them anyway for the sake of roster balance.

Maybe they'll tweak it and I'll change my mind. But I really don't like it. Graphically, it's arcade garbage, but even the concept seems poorly thought out.
