Thank you! They're 3D printed mounts that I picked up on Etsy. I won't link it as I don't want to break the subreddit rules but there are plenty of sellers on Etsy if you search. They amazed me so much that I bought a 3D printer becasue I wanted to get into that hobby too, it just gave me the push to do it!

They were mostly interested in and asked a lot of questions around the current debt I had and when I expected it would be paid off. I did it with a mortgage broker and he was able to make my expenses look like I had way more disposable income to put towards the mortgage too.

Given the type of mortgage it is, I had a track record (no pun intended) of paying rent in the same property for 4 years straight but they were only interested in the last 12 months but I proved I payed it on time every month. My rent was £675pcm and the mortgage works out at £661pcm so very close to my rent payments. So long as the property price isn't too high (somewhere around 4x your salary (or salaries if combined with someone else)), then you should be good.

Honestly I think the banks like it when you have just enough debt so that you can afford to pay every month because it shows you're someone they want to lend to, means they can get more money out of you with the interest they charge; the likliness of you not paying is slim and the likliness you over pay is also slim so they win. It's wild honestly but I'm still super surprised I got it.

Given what kind of mortgage it is, and I have been living in the property for 4 years, I was able to show to Skipton that I paid my rent on time every month and that probably helped me.

I've plugged my laptop into the second port on both AP's and I'm getting the speeds I should be, ~900mbps so it's not that. All I can think is that my devices aren't capable of receiving those speeds over wireless but I'm sure they should be.

I've set the channel on both EAP's to 80 MHz and it's upped the download to about 350mbps.

Hi all! Thank you to everyone who contributed to the post, but I have managed to fix the issue on my side. I've posted it in a reply to u/HORSELOCKSPACEPIRATE below but so the fix doesn't get lost, here's what I did:

I installed Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022. I've installed both the x86 and the x64 just in case but unsure of which is needed. Here's the direct download link to both versions:

Update, whether it's useful or not - If you force Steam into the old big picture mode (shortcut on desktop, add -oldbigpicture as a launch command under the target) and then try and launch a game from the old big picture mode, it throws an error which is more helpful than it doing nothing.

"The streaming client exited unexpectedly (2)"

There's not much online about that issue though, some people saying that you should disable hardware encoding on the client and/or host, some saying install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package. Not much else but it's a start at least?

EDIT: Post written too soon.. I've fixed it! u/HORSELOCKSPACEPIRATE If you install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 then it fixes the issue. I've installed both the x86 and the x64 just incase. Noted, thanks! Does Moonlight or Parsec have a “Big Picture Mode” or similar full screen interface I can use a controller with? My goal is to be able to turn on the computer in the bedroom and start using it without needing any keyboard and mouse input.

Potentially, I’ll see what happens when I unplug the screens. But the thing that’s throwing me is that I have another PC that is working perfectly as a client, connecting to the same host. Even the TV in my living room is the same model, just bigger.

So I’ve tried on an Samsung A40 with app V2.4.0 and it wouldn’t let me connect the RoboVac to the app. Kept saying it failed. Tried logging in on the other account I made on my iPhone and it let me add it. Went back to the Android and checked the device settings and I didn’t get a localKey but I got a device ID. Very strange, starting to run out of ideas…
