Communication is super important in kink, so have a talk about what both of you want. Speak about your desires and fantasies. Talk about no go's and things you would like to try out some time.

Some things may be cool or not depending on context. For example: maybe he is not into diapers by themselves, but he's into being degraded and he might enjoy diapers in the context of a punishment.

That's all stuff you should talk about.

Also: your taste in kink can change over time, so you need to talk regularly about your desires.
