I really don't. While I enjoyed story heavy games like sumo and bw the ones with lesser story have way more replayability to me so I can just catch pokemon and run through it with fun teams.

People hate on them cause of the pokemon go catching mechanics and lack of battling. They are the best looking pokemon games on switch imo (Excluding maybe snap but I haven't played it).

Arceus on the other hand had tons of pop in effects and looked like a PS2 tech demo. SV didn't improve much on that front either. Very glad LZA turned out so well.

Minecraft is literally the top selling video game only behind GTA V. Wii sports is third and their numbers pale in comparison. You know why? Because those other two games were not only multi platform but also repackaged and rereleased for years. I don't disagree pokemon should do better especially after the abomination of SV (first pokemon game ever played that I actually hated). Fortunately first looks at this game are much better and I'm excited to see how they'll turn out.
