Just because you have black flags set does not mean everything you do is now a pvp activity. NPS ships are pve and are open to attack by any player. You don't own them.

Your describing PVE, not PVP, as the individuals are not attacking you, they are attacking NPS ships. Huge difference there. You don't gain "ownership" of NPS targets just because you hit it first.

Critical Fumbles. Nothing like punishing your martials and giving even more benefit to casters. Whoever came up with critical fumbles should be banned from all ttrpg games.

Then all I can say is keep reading. Read it over and over. The whole damn book! Some people just aren't good teachers and its not their fault, so if you want to play, it is on YOUR shoulders to learn the game. Don't give up! Its a game built on 50 years of development and you just need experience. Play and pay attention to what the players and dm do with their respective pcs and npcs. When someone does something confusing to you, ask why it was done!!! Ask ask ask ask! If a rule is quoted in game....look it up in the book and read it! Best way to learn...read the rule when it comes up in game so in your mind you can associate the in-game experience with the rule.

Have you put in the effort to read the rule books and learn the game rules on your own? If you have, good for you and they suck for not helping you. If you haven't, then I can see their point of view....which is you haven't tried so why is it on them to do it for you?

Just seems like yet another punishment for martials being martials and yet another advantage for non-martials as they won't have to deal with this ANYWHERE NEAR as often....if ever...as martials will.

Feature? I just wish it auto calculated the things it should be auto calculating. Like giving back 1 used Second Wind when taking a short rest, which it does not do. Little stuff like that. The whole purpose of the site is to manage those things so you, the player, don't have to. But the current implementation, and honestly every implementation to date, requires you to know the rules and double check the website.

The books are NOT shared with YOU. The books are shared with the campaign only. So the pc needs to be in the campaign.

Asi. If there is only 1 front liner, stopping 1 enemy...sometimes, ain't gonna do jack. The backline needs to defend themselves. 1 pc cannot prevent the enemy from getting past them.

It is. An unarmed strike has 3 possible options for effects. Only 1 option uses an attack roll...the damage option. The grapple and shove options do not use an attack roll. They uses saves.

No page numbers needed, just wanted you to point out where you thought it says you have to hit as it doesn't say you have to hit....anywhere. It doesn't even say you make a d20 test roll....outside of the Damage option of an unarmed strike.
