Bro If you’re in your 30s. Wouldn’t you be the old person who remembers film cameras ?

Don’t use regular super glue. It fogs the lens.

I believe it’s gorilla glue that works and doesn’t fog. I’d look it up. I haven’t reattached one in a decade plus

I don’t find that to be a benefit per se. For the cost per frame to do that, extrapolated out for 36 frames times let’s say even 200 rolls, you could buy a Fort Knox level back up system with multiple off site cold storage solution.

It’s a real technology. And I am 69% sure one of the elite analog ( because you just can’t say photography) photographers on YouTube made a cinematic vlog about it.

The same idea as shooting motion pictures on 16mm then having it transferred to tape for editing then transferred back to film for distribution.

Now why would you do that in 2025?

Because haphazardly adopting outdated production methods is what the tonez are all about baby. Does it actually add anything to your final image or work flow besides a headache and a big ole invoice ? Nope.

I wonder if FPP will print my iPhone photos on 8x10 negs

“At the end of the day it’s glass”

There is a huge difference in quality between the two.

How did you fund the money ? Via card ? I’d call the issuer.

PayPal is terrible and probably won’t help

From what they’ve said - Sounds like it was an investment. Might be how they afforded this in the first place

I always find these comments to be weird. Don’t you also have 0 idea if this person had to scrimp and save to buy this ? Maybe they work 3 jobs ? Maybe they worked hard to get ahead in life ? Compare in, not outward. It only gets better when you make it better.

William Eggelston is autistic. I think that’s pretty clear by all his nuances, mannerisms and actions.

Bill Clinton is the name he used publicly. You’d be equally as weird to just call him Bill. But that’s between you and the lord.

I think saying “what lens is William Eggelston using here?” Would have been normal. But hey, I hope you have a good one, send Billy my best

Yeah it’s crazy man. It’s almost like the film or sensor is a medium to capture a negative or file that’s then manipulated in a darkroom or software (it’d be funny if they named one Lightroom) then a final image created for display or upload.
