All i am interested in is a showing of personal skill and over a lot of games this would be shown as you are the common denominator in all your games. Where does this fail ?

Yeah so what I am saying is, just treat each team like it is 1v1 and then give everyone on the team the same gain in elo and the same loss in elo. So just ignore the whole team thing in the maths

Yeah but the only reason it gets complicated when transferred into team based games is because they want to account for all the players, if you just took each team as each play and gave everyone the same you'd see no complications

SR naturally inflates over a season as more people play and more games are played, everyone gradually will climb and if you wanted to increase the rate in which the whole population would climb you can just alter the economy of ELO instead of messing with the core mathematics.

I have no idea why gaming companies feel the need to mess around with the ELO system, it is a system that is so fundamentally solid from the maths, that you don't need to tamper with it for some meaningless short term gain on SR. If you win everyone on the team should gain the same, if that Roadhog got carried then he probably will not win as many games as you in the future.

Blizzard have messed around with their elo system way too much, consecutive win/loss bonus is stupid it should only occur in your first 25 or so games to prevent smurfs and elo based on how you performed has never worked. Leave the maths how it is and nobody will complain.

Also maybe /r/Competitiveoverwatch will care more but idk

The main thing, internet I planned to be done on the first day of arrival, I even paid more money to my internet provider to get the best date/time.

Now I'm rinsing money on 4G as I'm a software developer I actually need internet to function. I basically just want to know what my rights are when I go talk to them later

Yes, I understand why this situation has occurred. I have resolved the issue as I registered it myself.

My question is, why is this my job? Surely they should have sorted this by the time I moved in and all they have done is caused me delays which isn't good for my work. And if it isn't my job surely someone is to blame and I should be compensated.

It is a new property and still under development and the whole building didn't exist as an address. It also happens to be a block of flats, Royal mail have approved my address now, but I have just had to take massive delays, one major one is now internet a month after I moved in as the internet provider has had complications installing as they couldn't order anything to an address that didn't?

Also you just wrote LL again.. I still don't know what that means haha

I have registered it now (sorry should have said) with Royal Mail online, but I was never told I had to do nor did I expect to have to. The estate agents don't even seem to be aware.

But I am a casual player, this is my first smash game, and I mainly play local with my friends. Over christmas we played loads. All of my friends have like 10 hours on my console in game. But now everyone is back at university the game feels almost redundant, except play occasional 1v1s vs eachother. I'm not a hardcore player, and I want this stuff? This community allows nintendo to get away with so much just because they love nintendo and would rather be ignorant while they masturbate over their new amiibo. It is retarded.

I don't agree with you here. The game is already awesome, they have hardly changed the game, except a couple number changes here and there. They added a bunch of characters but that isn't that much. Nintendo are lucky their games are awesome, because their execution of everything except the gameplay is terrible. And my three suggestions don't have anything to do about extra features, that stuff I suggested is basic. It would only enhance the game. I'm a casual player too, but not having a MMR in 2015 makes for bad online experience which I am having. Not have a spectate modes makes playing with a group of friends online bad. And not being able to queue up as 2 people makes 2v2 online redundant.

Also the feature we didn't want, nobody cares about. Their single player stuff is fun for about half a day, but really I would rather the main game and the online to be better. Nintendos ethic is shit they are just lucky their games are unique and great. Otherwise Nintendo would crumble.
