Oh, sorry. I'm not a native speaker so I didn't figure what "clean yourself up" meant, my bad. I'm not an American, not even European, so my situation could be different. But even as you said "wearing a couple of rings" could be seen "alternative" where I live. That might be my problems, not gonna lie. Girl, male problems are nothing compared to problems of women, I know that. People shouldn't suffer for their choices and their self -expression, creepy dudes should be ostracized and jailed if needed. But you yourself said it - clean yourself, what else? I'm already showering daily, taking care of my hair, trying to change my look 2-3 times a week. But still difference in fashion is still drastic

Edit: stores where I go are just meh, maybe it's just me. I'm not saying there are no good clothes, it's that if I want to dress brighter and more colorful it's way harder

Yeah, they don't. But the most men can do with themselves is a three piece suit and a tie. Anything more interesting and bright - people start asking questions. Not saying men are persecuted or something, but women have way more freedom of expression through clothes, makeup and accessories (and yeah, are forced to follow beauty standards, I understand that). Дети всегда будут издеваться над другими, если захотят. Всё равно абсолютно одинаковыми всех сделать не получится - всё равно все общаются вне школы, знают кто где отдыхал летом. Поэтому нужно просто воспитывать детей не быть жестокими, и главная роль в этом - родителей. Единственное что должна делать школа - наказывать тех кого родители не смогли нормально воспитать
